Staff Writer: Savannah Phillips
Have you ever needed somebody, but you didn’t know who to turn to? Maybe you’ve had a question, but you don’t know who to ask. Or, maybe you just needed some advice from someone who cares.
That’s exactly what I’m here for. I will be that “somebody” for anyone who needs me to be. I’m here for you, I’ll listen, I’ll give you the best advice I can (just remember I’m just as young as you are and not very experienced) but nonetheless, I will research what I can and get back to you with the best advice I found.
I’m introducing the new Advice Column featured in the Weekly Triangle. Here’s how it works…
If you have a question for me, no matter how embarrassing, personal, or light the subject is, I will respond in the Advice Column. You simply get the question to me by my Wingate email. If you wish to remain anonymous, I will not disclose your name, nor will I tell anyone who the question was from. It’s between you and I, with the hope of not only helping you, but others.
My hope is that through this advice column, I can make you feel not alone in whatever you’re going through. Writing makes me feel not alone, and I want to combine my love for writing with my desire to help others through the written word. Writing, to me, is personal. And I hope that I can be for you what writing is for me- my safe place.

p.s. I can’t wait to hear from you! If you would like, you can even send in a “code name” with your email, and that’s who I will make the question from 😊 Just make sure it’s appropriate please!
