The Wingate Word
November 2025
Welcome to this semester’s first edition of “The Wingate Word”—an occasional look at what’s on the minds of Wingate University students, as solicited by Triangle contributors from this fall’s COMM 220 Newswriting class. This week our reporters sought out answers across campus to the following question:
What is the favorite class you have taken so far at Wingate and why?

“My favorite class at Wingate University has been Philosophy 205: Logic and Critical Thinking. Dr. Milner is a phenomenal professor, and I enjoyed the non-traditional class structure. It’s a very useful and fun class that I think everyone should take, even if you’re not into philosophy.”
